Dr. Brian G. Brown, DNP
Founder and Developer of Genetic Sovereignty™
Owner and CEO – Optimal You Clinic
Dr. Brian is a Doctor of Advanced Nursing Practice, dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. His experience in psychiatry began in 1998, with work in functional and epigenetic medicine beginning in 2009.
With more than three decades of experience, Dr. Brian brings together perspectives from psychiatric care, functional and epigenetic medicine, clinical leadership, and personalized health strategies. As a speaker and author, he also shares his knowledge and perspectives to help people better understand complex health information and its practical relevance.
As Founder and Developer of the Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™, he brings these disciplines together to consider health information in the context of the whole person. His aim is to help people understand how the pieces of their health information fit together, the reasoning behind a proposed direction, and what it may look like to put that direction into practice.

Owner and CEO - Bloom Bond Wellness
Dr. Jaime is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor and brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience and a whole-person perspective to the Genetic Sovereignty™ process.
She's the owner of Bloom Bond Wellness and specializes in supporting couples through all stages of parenthood from fertility optimization and challenges, childbirth education through post-partum stages. As Clinical Liaison, she helps individuals clarify their questions, understand the Blueprint process, and explore how their health history and lived experience fit into the bigger picture.
Her role is to help people feel informed, supported, and prepared to take part in the sovereignty and stewardship of their health.

Do I need genetic testing before booking a discovery call?
No. You can book a complimentary discovery call to learn about the Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™, ask questions, and understand the process. The Blueprint includes a designated genetic test, and we'll explain that component during your conversation.
Will the Blueprint help me understand how my biology works and how to better support my health?
Yes! The Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™ is designed to help you understand the bigger picture of your health and identify opportunities to support your biology more intentionally.
By bringing together your designated genetic testing, health history, current biology, and lived experience, the Blueprint helps connect information that may otherwise feel fragmented. Does a genetic test explain everything about my health?
No. Genetics is one piece of a much bigger picture. The Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™ considers genetic information alongside your health history, current biology, lived experience, and other relevant information.
This broader context can help you better understand your health information, ask informed questions, and advocate for yourself as healthcare providers, recommendations, and protocols change throughout your life. The goal is to help you participate more confidently in conversations about your care and make informed decisions alongside your healthcare team.
What if I already have genetic test results or laboratory work?
Bring that question to your discovery call. We'll explain how the Blueprint's designated genetic test works and discuss how other available information may fit into the process. Labs are incorporated into the findings.
Does the Blueprint replace my current doctor or medical care?
No. The Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™ is intended to support understanding and informed participation in healthcare decisions. It does not replace appropriate primary or specialty medical care but can be useful when navigating multiple healthcare providers or when protocols may change.
Is the Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™ covered by insurance?
No. The Genetic Sovereignty Blueprint™ is a private-pay service designed as a comprehensive, approximately 12-week process from start to finish.
Throughout those three months, substantial professional time and individualized attention go into reviewing and connecting your designated genetic testing, health history including labs, medications, supplements and/or assessments, and other relevant information before, during and after your final blueprint. The process includes preparation before your Results Session, the session itself, development of your personalized Blueprint, and follow-up implementation visits to help you understand and integrate the information.
Why? The Blueprint involves a multi-stage process with professional expertise, individualized preparation, and support beyond a single appointment or genetic report, it is not billed to insurance. Your investment reflects the comprehensive nature of the process and the time dedicated to helping you make sense of your health information.
Can I participate if I don't live near Optimal You Clinic?
Yes. Genetic Sovereignty™ can accommodate clients through virtual telehealth visits, allowing you to participate without being physically located near Optimal You Clinic in Jackson, Tennessee.
During your discovery call, we'll explain the process, discuss testing requirements, and confirm availability based on your location and any applicable requirements.
The value goes beyond understanding what may be happening today. As your health, circumstances, providers, or protocols change, your Blueprint can serve as a resource to revisit, helping you ask more informed questions, evaluate priorities, and participate more confidently in decisions about your care.
The goal is to move from disconnected information to greater clarity, purposeful next steps, and a more informed approach to supporting your health over time.
